Program Presenter

Dustin Cole, President of Attorneys Masters Class and Masters Class Practice Advisor

Dustin Cole, President of Attorneys Masters Class and Master Class Practice Advisor, is one of the nation’s leading advisors to law firms and lawyers. He is a regular CLE provider and speaker for more than 50 national, state and specialty Bar Associations, and has worked with over 200 firms and more than 1000 individual attorneys in 30 states to help them increase revenues and deal successfully with change.

1. Client Selectivity

The 80-20 Rule says your top 20% will pay you 80% of your revenues. Stop working for the 80% and only let the 20% in.

2. Hiring Right

A firm with no staff is a dead end, and cheap help is dangerous. Get great help so you can focus on growing your practice.

3. File/Matter Control

Create systems that allow you to work efficiently and systematically. If you don’t know exactly what needs to be done next in every file, you’re in danger.

4. Time Management

The average sole practitioner spends more than 50% of their time on non-billable,

administrative and personal activities while work piles up and cash flow stops.

5. Make a Plan

If you don’t know where you and your practice are going, you’ll get there.

6. Make Marketing JOB 1

Nothing happens until a client asks for help, and nothing is more important than making sure enough of them do. Without clients, your skills don’t matter.
